Parent Donates Dental Equipment to EQUSaT

Masaka, September 22, 2024 — Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) received a generous donation of dental equipment from a well-wisher, who is also a parent to one of the university’s students.

 

The equipment has since been put to effective use in treating patients at no cost, directly improving oral health care within the Kigamba community and its surroundings.

 

This act of generosity strengthened the university’s mission of promoting accessible healthcare and community service, while also reinforcing the strong bond between EQUSaT and parents who support its vision.

 

Contribution to SDGs

The donation aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by improving access to oral health services, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening collaboration between the university and its stakeholders.
