Miss Uganda Central Visits EQUSaT, Inspires Launch of Mr. and Miss EQUSaT Pageant

Masaka, May 2, 2024 — The then Miss Uganda Central, Ms. Jessica Sserwadda, paid a courtesy visit to Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) as part of her efforts to establish a connection with the institution and explore the possibility of serving as its ambassador.

 

During her visit, Ms. Sserwadda toured the university’s modern facilities, including the laboratories, lecture rooms, and administrative offices. She commended the institution for its well-structured learning environment and student-centered approach.

 

Her engagement with the university community left a lasting mark, as it influenced the launch of the Mr. and Miss EQUSaT pageant—an initiative aimed at nurturing talent, building confidence, and strengthening the university’s cultural identity.
