EQUSaT Strengthens Ties with Sembabule District Health Officers

Last week, Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) paid a courtesy visit to health officers in Sembabule District, aimed at fostering friendship and promoting collaboration between the University and the district’s health sector.

 

The delegation was led by Ms. Tusiime Olive, Assistant Academic Registrar, and included Mr. Igga Ibrahim, Mr. Tusiime Ronald, and Mr. Mujinya Reagan. During the visit, the team engaged with district health officials to discuss potential areas of cooperation, including community health programs, research collaborations, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

 

The visit reflects EQUSaT’s commitment to building strong partnerships with local government entities to enhance health services and support the University’s mission of community engagement and sustainable development.

 

Ms. Tusiime emphasized that such engagements are vital in creating mutual understanding and long-term collaboration that benefits both the University and the communities it serves.
