EQUSaT Ranked 2nd in Uganda and Among the World's Leading Universities in the Times High Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026

Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) is delighted to announce its outstanding performance in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, achieving a position as the 2nd-ranked university in Uganda and earning placement in the 601–800 global band worldwide.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess universities based on their contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The rankings recognize institutions that demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, stewardship, and community engagement while addressing the world's most pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.

This achievement reflects EQUSaT's unwavering commitment to advancing sustainable development through innovative research, quality education, community partnerships, and impactful policy engagement. As a university dedicated to enabling human capacity, EQUSaT continues to contribute meaningfully to national and global development priorities.
