EQUSaT Participates in National Conference on Student Well-being and Safety in Gulu

Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) is actively participating in the Uganda Deans of Students and Guild Leaders Conference, which kicked off today in Gulu City. The conference, running until September 13th, 2025, is being held under the theme “Well-being and Safety: Pillars of Quality Higher Education.”

 

EQUSaT’s delegation is led by the Dean of Students, Mr. Kisebe Yusuf, accompanied by HE. Ssengendo Sharif Senoga (Guild President), Ms. Nakitto Value (Finance Minister), and Mr. Kasujja Simon Peter (Minister for Academics, Research, and Innovation).

 

This important gathering brings together student leaders and university administrators from across the country to deliberate on critical issues shaping the future of higher education in Uganda. It provides a platform to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and develop strategies that enhance student well-being, safety, and overall academic excellence.
