EQUSaT Marketing Team Strengthens Regional Ties in Greater Masaka

Masaka, July 6, 2024 — The Marketing Team of Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) carried out a strategic outreach in the Greater Masaka region to promote togetherness and strengthen community relations.

 

The team was comprised of Eng. Kasagga Usama, the then Academic Registrar, Mr. Kiganda Hussein, Quality Assurance Assistant, and Mr. Erias Waiswa, Executive Assistant in the Office of the Vice Chancellor.

 

Covering districts including Kyotera, Rakai, Lyantonde, Lwengo, Masaka, Ssembabule, Bukomansimbi, and Kalungu, the team established contact points and fostered collaborations with local government leaders. The engagements highlighted EQUSaT’s commitment to building strong partnerships that advance education and community development.

 

Contribution to SDGs

The initiative advanced SDG 4 (Quality Education) by extending educational opportunities and awareness, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) through regional collaboration, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by forging networks with government leaders to support sustainable development.
