Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) on Tuesday welcomed Dr. Byarugaba Baterana, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at King Ceasor University, for a strategic visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.
The engagement was focused on identifying areas of partnership in Health Sciences teaching, laboratory development, and medical research, key fields where both universities are seeking to expand capacity and improve academic excellence.
EQUSaT’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo, led the discussions, accompanied by Dr. Steven Sebaggala, the Head of Anatomy at EQUSaT. The team highlighted the university’s fast-growing infrastructure, including its advanced laboratories and vibrant health sciences programs.
Dr. Baterana expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended EQUSaT’s progress in establishing strong academic foundations. He noted that King Ceasor University is keen on forming mutually beneficial engagements that enhance training opportunities for students and support impactful research.
