EQUSaT Guild Government Handover Paves Way for Free and Fair Elections

October 29, 2024 — The then Guild Government of Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT), led by H.E. Baryamujura Ahmed, officially handed over responsibilities to the then Guild Speaker, Guma Nicolas Claus, in preparation for upcoming guild elections.

 

The ceremony was officiated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo and marked the beginning of an interim leadership period that ensured a smooth transition and proper governance. This process ultimately facilitated free and fair Guild elections, reinforcing democratic practices within the student body.

 

The handover underscored EQUSaT’s commitment to nurturing responsible student leadership and promoting accountability in campus governance.
