EQUSaT Faculty of Health Sciences and EUMSA Host Medical Quiz Competition

Masaka, June 21, 2024 — The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT), in partnership with the EQUSaT Medical Students Association (EUMSA), organized a thrilling Medical Quiz competition to test and sharpen students’ medical knowledge.

 

The event was officiated by the then Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Mulwanyi Francis, alongside EUMSA President, Mr. Halima Patrick. The interactive contest created a lively academic atmosphere while providing students with an exciting break from their daily routine.

 

After a spirited competition, Group E emerged winners, represented by John Mary Vianny and Amoding Mercy, whose teamwork and knowledge stood out among the contestants.

 

The Medical Quiz was more than just a competition—it fostered learning, teamwork, and academic growth, while enhancing the confidence of participating students.

 

Contribution to SDGs

The initiative supported SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by enhancing medical knowledge, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through innovative learning approaches.
