EQUSaT Council Convenes to Discuss Future of Sustainable Quality Education

October 6, 2024 — The University Council of Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) held a pivotal meeting to deliberate on the institution’s future, with a key focus on sustainable quality education.

 

The session, chaired by Prof. Shadid Malik, the Council Chairperson, brought together all council members, who shared insights and strategies on how EQUSaT can strengthen its academic standards, research capacity, and community engagement while ensuring long-term sustainability.

 

The meeting reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to steering the university toward excellence in line with its mission and vision, and to align its priorities with global higher education trends.

 

Contribution to SDGs

This initiative supported SDG 4 (Quality Education) by focusing on sustainable education practices and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaborative decision-making at the governance level.
